After yesterday's brouhaha I've been reminded by not 1 but 2 of Best Foot Forward that Gorillaz aren't the only ones to use the Time Warp sample, Danny Wang did it on Balihu#1 all the way back in '93.
Here's what was on the A side of that most excellent release. (I know that's a bit of a Bill & Ted expression but it was early 90's.)
